New Hair! (February 2021) - Makeup and Beauty Blog
I finally got my hair choppity-chop-chopped, and oh, my gosh! — the relief is palpable! After conveying what felt similar a x-pound moisture canis familiaris on my head since early on terminal yr, I feel like a whole new person. Physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. All the "lly" words. It felt slap-up to unload that reminder of 2022 for me.
I found a salon in my area that offers outdoor haircuts and made an appointment with a gal named Ariana Benoit (found her through a local moms grouping on Facebook).
Ane of the grouping members posted a pic of her layered lob after Ariana had cut it, and she looked and so happy and beautiful. I always get a little nervous when stylists I oasis't gone to before cut my hair considering I've accept and then many bad haircuts. Plus, pandemic. But I had to practice something because the weight from my hair had been giving me headaches every 24-hour interval.
Fifty-fifty though everyone was masked up and taking precautions, to reduce the corporeality of time I'd have to be in the chair, the salon suggested I wash my pilus at home and arrive to the appointment with information technology moisture, so that's what I did. I besides double-masked and wore my spectacles.
I brought a couple of inspiration photos with me to the engagement, with the thought that I would continue my hair long for at present.
Truth be told, I've been a footling out of my heed lately (I think I've hit the pandemic wall, le sigh), and although I was tempted to ask her to chop it all off, I didn't desire to do anything as well farthermost. It'southward probably not the best idea to make big changes when y'all aren't feeling emotionally super strong, ya know?
Ariana actually took the fourth dimension to come across where my hair naturally wanted to role, then guided me through what realistically it would and wouldn't do. She suggested going with a Bridget Bardot-mode cut with drape bangs so I could proceed the length, notwithstanding drop the weight. The curtain bangs would besides permit some softness around my face for when I need to throw my hair upwardly into a bun or a ponytail (which is ofttimes).
I'm really happy with how it turned out, and I almost experience like myself over again. ?
Your friendly neighborhood dazzler addict,
Karen
